Explore Historical Heart Zone

Colosseum Zone

Our qualified guides will lead on a true voyage of discovery

that will take you around the Globe and back in time.

Rome, the Eternal City, where thousand-year history, has left its marks on monuments, squares, streets and churches so that the entire city is a gigantic open air museum in itself, has a special atmosphere, a timeless charm and timeless beauty. Just walking around the streets you feel history; you come to architectural feats and cannot do anything but just stand and admire the landscape in either directions.

The Pantheon, Rome

Our guides will take you to the discovery of the elegant Piazza Navona built above the 1st-century Stadio di Domiziano, with the monumental Bernini’s “Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi” (1605) and framed by baroque palazzi. We will then head for a striking 2000-year-old temple, now a church, the Pantheon - it is the best preserved of Rome’s ancient monuments with the largest unreinforced concrete dome ever built. We will then continue the path through prettiest pedestrian cobbled lanes as well as crowded top shopping streets to arrive to magnet for visitors since the 18th century, the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain as far as the piazza Venezia.

All these places get very busy during the day; visit later in the evening when they are beautifully lit and you can appreciate their majesty without such great hordes.

Trevi Fountain
Tiber Island, Rome

Not far away from the overcrowded tourist-beaten tracks is located one of the world’s smallest inhabited islands, the Tiber Island and the ancient Rome’s first stone bridge: the Pons Aemilius.  Situated on the banks of the Tiber river, facing Tiber Island, rises one of the oldest Jewish community in Europe - dates back to the 2nd century BC - called: Ghetto. Confinement the Jews of Rome to the Ghetto came in 1555 when Pope Paul IV ushered in a period of official intolerance that lasted until the 20th century. As a consequence of the particular history of the Jewish Ghetto, cultural and religious identity remained almost unchanged through the centuries. To this day, there is an unusual and charm atmosphere in the narrow streets and palaces of these well-preserved old centres, you should not miss.

Villa Borghese, Rome

If you are an art lover and never tired of knowing more, set out below are description of two tours for you. Just a few steps from Piazza di Spagna, in the heart of the gardens of the Villa Borghese is one of the greatest private art collections in the world, often referred to as the "queen of all private art collections". It boasts paintings by Caravaggio, Bernini, Raphael, Titian and Canova. (We recommend that you book the tour well in advance because tickets that literally sell like hot cakes). Just to add some icing to the cake, if you cross the park, you can find the National Gallery of Modern Art which includes works of great artists such as Klimt, Modigliani, Pollock, De Chirico, Degas and Miro'.

Tempio di Adriano, Rome

Our tours also represent a fabulous opportunity to discover some of the most beautiful, and lesser known treasures of the city such as the eleven huge Corinthian columns of the 2nd-century Tempio di Adriano; the 20,000-seat mini-Colosseum: Teatro Marcello as well as an ad hoc guided tours illustrating the everyday life of Gladiators through that age’s places and structures.

After these itineraries with our qualified guide the ancient capital of the world will surely leave its mark on your heart, forever.
